The Company

Emitec was founded in 1986 as a subsidiary of Siemens and GKN. The worldwide development of environmental awareness and the early decision of the automobile industry to employ catalytic converters to reduce pollution from exhaust gases were an advantage to the fast development of the young company. From the beginning, Emitec has relied upon metal as a material for all new and further developments and, within a few years, it had developed into one of the biggest manufacturers of metallic substrate in the world.
